About Me

In my experience what matters most as a psychotherapist is being able to provide the safe and containing space to explore oneself. The ability to offer this comes from a very thorough training over five years (PG Dip Psychodynamic Theory and Practice), where I learnt the theories that underpin how I work now. Combined with a personal psychoanalysis this helps me to be an experienced, creative, adaptable, and thorough therapist.

Along the way I have also undertaken other complimentary training in traditional EMDR, attachment EMDR, Art therapy, Organisational Trauma, and Ecotherapy. This diverse professional background means I can bring different elements to our work together, depending on what may be most helpful.

I am a senior accredited psychotherapist with the NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society), and an EMDR Europe accredited practitioner.

Currently I offer brief focused psychotherapy of up to six-months, and attachment-focused EMDR. If you are looking for open-ended psychoanalytic therapy, please do make contact and I maybe able to suggest a colleague.
